Esoteric Buddhist Ritual Tool Tibetan Bell (Ganta, Vajra Bell, Nine-Prong Bell) Tibetan Bell, Dorje, Vajra
This was given to me by a friend about 30 years ago, who purchased it in Nepal. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please understand that it is an old item before purchasing. The exact age is unknown, but it appears to be very old. *Please note that the clapper (tongue) is not included, so you will need to provide your own.
It stands approximately 24.5cm tall and has a substantial, weighty feel.
Tibetan bells (ghanta, vajra bell) are often rung at the beginning and end of healing and therapy sessions. They are also believed to have protective and purifying effects when rung near spaces, objects, people, natural stones, power stones, or accessories, warding off evil and misfortune.
Furthermore, it is said that meditating while ringing a Tibetan bell when feeling tired, down, or unmotivated can lighten the mind and bring about healing.
