Unused Ten-sui made synthetic carp rod.

This rod features a carbon tip and tip-holder, making the tip very light and easy to cast.
The butt (handle) and second section are made of segmented Yagake bamboo.
Achieving such fine segmentation is difficult.

It has a beautiful rattan-wrapped grip, making it easy to clean even if stained with bait.

Ginsen is a rod craftsman from Kishu with a unique background, following the lineage of the Edo Wagashi school (specifically the Saōji lineage). He is a rod craftsman from Wakayama, Kishu.
Details of his apprenticeship are as follows:
He trained under a Kishu rod craftsman who followed the lineage of Saōji.
Ginsen is known as a skilled craftsman who creates exquisite rods that combine practicality and beauty, particularly for Kishu carp fishing.

There are no deformations or cracks in the ferrule.
As the rod is unused since purchase, its natural curve is within the range of natural bamboo.

While many carp rods are listed at auction, many have parts such as the tip-holder or tip that are not original.

Rods with replaced tips or tip-holders will have a completely different action from the original.

The carp rod being offered here has a handle and second section made by Ginsen.
Naturally, the tip and tip-holder have also been adjusted by Ginsen.
The rod stopper also bears the same brand mark as the rod.

Carbon tips and tip-holders were first conceived and put into practical use by Saho about 40 years ago. The Hibiki rod brand was created by Saho as a synthetic rod.

Ginsen began production later, under Saho's guidance.

In my opinion, this rod was very popular and sold in large quantities, with various finishes available.
