Pioneer KURO PDP-5010P [Excellent Condition, Low Usage: 3863 Hours]

Pioneer KURO PDP-5010P
[Excellent Condition, Low Usage: 3863 Hours]

■ Product Features
Purchased new on March 18, 2008, from a specialty store in Akihabara for approximately ¥430,000 at the time.
The jet black of this top-of-the-line full HD model from that era, while not as perfectly black as OLED, still boasts a warm and deep color reproduction that holds its own even today.
Even if it doesn't sell, please remember that Pioneer once produced such high-quality televisions.

■ Remarkable Low Usage (Viewing Hours)
Total viewing time is only 3,863 hours (confirmed via service mode).
This averages about 30 minutes per day. For a plasma panel's lifespan, this is just past the break-in period. It was primarily used in a salon to watch news and weather.

■ Panel Condition
• Burn-in/Dead Pixels: Tested on a pure white screen. There is no noticeable burn-in or dead pixels, and the screen is exceptionally clear.
• Operation: Fully functional, including remote control operation, program guide display, etc.
• Exterior: Used with care, with no significant scratches visible on the panel or frame.

■ Genuine Tabletop Stand (No major scratches, retains gloss)

■ Accessories
• Genuine Side Speakers (Detachable)
• Genuine Remote Control (Excellent condition, fully functional, includes batteries)
• B-CAS Card (Unused)
• Instruction Manual (Manufacturer registration not completed)
• Manufacturer Warranty Card (Unused, original one-year warranty from that time)
• Unused Cleaning Cloth

■ Shipping
We will use Yamato's Rakuraku Kazai Takkyubin service, which includes delivery to your installation location. This is similar to Packaged and Shipped by Mercari, but please note that it is a named delivery service. Direct pickup is also possible in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
We usually aim to ship within 24 hours for standard items, but please understand that it may take a little longer after purchase as we will arrange for Packaged and Shipped by Mercari.

■ Thoughts on KURO
It is with regret that I part with this item, which I have cherished, but I am looking to upgrade to an even larger screen.
Upon re-examination for listing, the picture has a warm, analog-like quality.
It's like listening to music on vinyl.

It's a shame that Pioneer's KURO, the pinnacle of plasma TVs, is disappearing. I hope to pass it on to someone who will use it with care.
