It is a multi-purpose paste that combines the durability of oil films with lubricity and is also compatible with saltwater.
As a feature, it can be used as a substitute for oil products primarily focused on durability, such as BSLU oil, NEMEA oil, and THICK HEAVY oil. Due to the grease-like characteristics of VNL, it offers significantly improved adhesion and anti-scattering properties, enhancing physical durability and oil film performance compared to the aforementioned oils.
Similarly, it enhances lubricity, similar to low-viscosity, smooth greases like THETA grease. Furthermore, due to the oil-like characteristics of VNL, it gains chemical adsorption of its blended oils and the effects of various additives, providing rust prevention and friction reduction. This makes it a multi-purpose product suitable for all applications.
Without specifying clear recommended uses, the feel can be easily controlled by the amount applied. Its unique, slightly dry yet smooth paste-like consistency provides excellent oil film extension. Even on vertical surfaces, it maintains its oil film, and its shear strength and oil film performance under high load and continuous sliding surpass other METHOD oils and greases.
