I do not own a shakuhachi, so I cannot answer questions about whether it will fit.

This is Type B.
This piece is designed to fit shakuhachi with a diameter of approximately 5 cm and a length of up to approximately 58 cm.
A drawstring has been attached a few centimeters from the opening. The length can be adjusted to some extent by changing the folding position.

The gusset at the top and bottom will be taken up by the diameter of the shakuhachi.
Even if the overall length of the item is long, if it has a large diameter, a gusset will be created at the top and bottom, making it difficult for many items to fit.
For an idea of the diameter, I have included a photo with an unopened mini juice can (approximately 5.2 cm) for comparison.

Depending on the person, I would recommend Type A for those who untie the string or pull out the top fold, but for now, only Type B will be listed.

The item will be shipped folded. I cannot be responsible for any injuries, but it may be helpful to lightly iron out the creases.
