【Excellent Condition】Tsugaru Shamisen Body Cover, Tsugaru Lacquerware, Black with Red/Green Accents, Gobu-dai Size, Tenjin Cover, Body Wrap
105.60 $
Description
This is a doukake (body cover) for a Tsugaru shamisen, suitable for a 5/8 size or larger.
Due to rising raw material costs and a shortage of craftspeople, the market price for authentic Tsugaru lacquerware has increased.
The lacquer work on this piece is of excellent quality.
Looking at it is like gazing at fireworks blooming in the night sky.
This item is in beautiful condition, with a glossy finish and no noticeable scratches, so much so that it can be described as like new (close to unused).
There are some minor spots on the back of the doukake, but please understand that this is due to the nature of the Japanese paper used.
As condition is subjective and may vary depending on individual perception, please check the images for details.
