Jiuta Bachi Patent Aiborer
Many people are probably looking for this, aren't they?
With natural marubachi being so expensive and difficult to obtain, even Aibola is considered good, to the point where experts point it out. My respected late teacher used to say that even Aibola is hard to find because the supplier is gone, which is a problem.
Marubachi is expensive, so most people use grafted bachi made by joining pieces. Fortunately, I have two tsugime nashi (seamless) Jiuta bachi, so I splurged.
This is a Jiuta bachi made of Aibola, which is now unobtainable. It has good flexibility, a very nice tone, and excellent balance.
