Replacing the lead wires is an easy and highly effective way to improve sound quality in record playback. We highly recommend you try it.

This Sky Is Falling is one of our high-end lead wires, crafted by four-strand braiding two 0.125mm solid wires of rare 1950s old Russian blue silk dark brown enamel wire, and two 36 AWG solid wires of 1940s Belden, which we use in our popular RCA cables, August Green. The sound combines the overall dry sound image of vintage USA-made Belden with the rich low-end and brilliant high frequencies of old Russian USSR-made blue silk solid wire. It's punchy yet soft, and doesn't cause listening fatigue. Even with records that have harsh high frequencies, it raises the resolution while suppressing the painful frequencies and allowing the delicious high-frequency range to extend smoothly. You'll hear sounds you never heard before, and begin to perceive the original intent of the recording and mixing. It's more delicate than thicker solid wires, with a sound like a vast sky with a very wide soundstage overall.

It's very flexible and easy to handle. The four-strand braiding minimizes wire twisting and interference compared to stranded wire, ensuring excellent durability. We've used custom gold-plated tips that are highly resistant to accidental breakage during connection and disconnection, which is a common weak point for lead wires. The tips are shaped for easy installation, making them user-friendly even for those new to replacing lead wires. They are designed so that even if bent tightly, they are unlikely to break, allowing you to enjoy replacing the lead wires multiple times. In the unlikely event of damage, we will send a replacement. The standard length is approximately 4.5cm including the terminals. Length can be adjusted upon request.

You can experience the performer's nuances more deeply, and achieve monitoring with such resolution and depth that you can grasp the intent of the mixing and mastering. Sounds that would normally be harsh on the ears with standard lead wires become completely different with lead wires made from high-purity materials. Of course, sound preferences vary from person to person, but with vintage wires, you can achieve an audible improvement in sound quality at first listen.

The connection terminals, or tips, can be easily adjusted to fit the size of your cartridge and headshell terminals.
