Description
Simagic DS-8X Shifter Malfunction Repair Harness Wiring Simagic Gear Shift Sim Racing Simulator
This is a replacement harness for the Simagic DS-8X.
The genuine harness is often too short, making the wiring prone to breakage and leading to malfunctions with prolonged use.
Symptoms include the shifter not detecting gears during use, losing connection with your PC, or repeatedly prompting for firmware updates even when no update is available.
Replacing the harness with this one will resolve these issues instantly.
I personally experienced these problems, and several others around me did as well. Replacing the harness solved their issues too.
*This does not guarantee a solution for all malfunctions.
