Space Swivel (1 each of Regular & Heavy)

This is a handmade spey swivel. Concerned about the metal parts touching guides, I carefully covered them with heat shrink tubing without compromising smooth rotation. This prevents issues like scratches and wear by ensuring the metal parts do not contact the guides when passing through them.

When spey casting, connecting it between your shooting line and main fly line with a loop-to-loop connection will reduce bothersome line twist.

This listing includes one regular size and one heavy size, offering versatility from low to high line weights. (We also have listings for two regular and two heavy sizes). The regular size features 35lb braided line, a swivel strength of approximately 12kg, and weighs about 0.25g. The heavy size has 50lb braided line, a swivel strength of approximately 18kg, and weighs about 0.35g. Both sizes are approximately 9cm in total length.

Cyanoacrylate adhesive is used to secure the braided line loops. While minimized to maintain flexibility, I have used multiple swivels on various reels for the past 5 years without any significant issues. However, if the adhesive's effectiveness diminishes, you may want to apply a small amount. Low to medium viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive is recommended.

We will ship via YuYu Mercari便, which allows you to track the delivery status. Therefore, discounts are not planned.
