This hanger is used to move the bobbin holder out of the way during tying so it doesn't get in the way.
It can be attached to vise shafts with a diameter of approximately 10mm.
This is a general size.

The included set screw is designed for 10mm shafts. If you are attaching it to an 8mm shaft, you will need to purchase and replace the set screw with a longer one.

Many tying vises have shaft diameters of around 8mm to 10mm.
Thin shafts from overseas manufacturers are often 5/16 (approx. 7.938mm), which is about 8mm.
General size shafts are often 3/8 (approx. 9.53mm) in diameter.
Please measure the size of the shaft you will be attaching it to before purchasing.
