Convoy S2 Pro UV Flashlight 365nm UV Light New

New, includes battery and ZWB2 blacklight filter.

Charger not included.

This item was purchased as a spare, but I'm listing it because I can replace it myself if any issues arise.

The Convoy S2+ UV light is a cost-effective, professional-grade ultraviolet flashlight. The 365nm wavelength model, in particular, is highly regarded for mineral identification, authenticity verification, and stain detection, as it suppresses visible light while eliciting a strong fluorescent reaction.

Key Features and Specifications:
Wavelength: 365nm (long-wave UV). With minimal visible light, the fluorescent reaction of the target object can be observed more clearly.

Filter: Many models come standard with or offer an optional ZWB2 blacklight filter, which cuts out the slight visible light (purple light) emitted by the LED, allowing only pure UV to pass through.

Battery: Uses one 18650 lithium-ion battery (often sold separately).

Benefits by Use Case:
Mineral/Gemstone Identification: Ideal for searching for fluorescent minerals like Uperlite.
Authenticity Verification: Highly effective for checking anti-counterfeit ink on banknotes and holograms on ID cards.
Cleaning/Inspection: Used to check for pet urine stains, toilet bowl residue, and invisible grease stains.
Resin Curing: Can also be used for curing UV resin, but curing speed depends on wattage.

Important Purchase Considerations:
Battery Compatibility: Unprotected flat-top 18650 batteries may be recommended. Be aware that protected batteries are longer and may not fit.
Set Contents: Main unit, battery.

Safety: This emits very strong UV light, so direct viewing is strictly prohibited. Wearing UV-blocking goggles is recommended during use.
