Description

SONY
D-235
Portable CD Player with ESP Function

The items shown in the image are all that is included.
- Main unit
- Instruction manual (English version)
- Earphones (bonus)

I purchased this along with the D-135, a lower-end model, because of its good sound quality, but it is being sold as junk for the following reasons:

It powers on with both the AC adapter and batteries, and it reads CDs, but the sound from the headphone jack is distorted, as if the vocals have been pulled back. The sound from the LINE-OUT is normal.

Currently, it can be used without major issues if connected to active speakers with volume control or a headphone amplifier.
