-20dB PAD Audio Input Pad for Acoustics, Recording, Broadcasting, and Capture - Set of 2

Canon Type -20dB Pad. Please ensure you use it with a balanced connection.
This is used when the signal level input into equipment is too high and exceeds the appropriate level.
It is a resistor (attenuator) that attenuates the input signal.
Audio professionals will likely be familiar with this.
If you connect a -20dB pad to the output of a device with a 0dB output,
you can use it with a -20dB compatible device within the normal range without distortion.
Also, if you connect two -20dB pads to the output of a device with a 0dB output,
you can use it with a -60dB device without distortion.
For -60dB microphone level, please turn off the phantom power of your input console, mixer, etc.
For devices with +4dB output, please add -4dB if possible.

XLR connectors have variations in male/female orientation, as well as 2番HOT (Pin 2 HOT) and 3番HOT (Pin 3 HOT) wiring schemes.
XLR connectors are composed of three pins, numbered 1 to 3, to which GND, HOT, and COLD are assigned.
The international standard is 2番HOT, but American systems use 3番HOT, while European systems use 2番HOT. Currently, both are in mixed use.
