Operation Confirmed / Mostly Maintained Logitech LFD-52 5-inch FDD for PC-98 etc.

The exterior is judged as slightly scratched and dirty, but maintenance has been performed, and the configuration differs before and after maintenance.
Please judge the condition based on this premise before purchasing.

The reason for mostly maintained is that the FDD unit operates well (only sponge removal) and the maintenance items marked with ※.
Please understand these points before purchasing.
--- Overview ---
This is a Logitech external FDD LFD-52 equipped with two slim 5-inch FDDs.
It comes with cables and disks, so you can connect it to a PC-98 etc. and use it right away.
Maintenance performed:
- Cleaned the entire exterior
- Repaired and reinforced the bezel (using Plarepair + plastic sheet)
- Replaced electrolytic capacitors in the FDD unit, control board, and ※ power supply (excluding special size)
- Replaced power cable and switch
- Replaced all screws except those on the drive unit (added a screw to the drive unit where one was missing)
- Cleaned the drive heads (both dry and wet methods)
- Removed deteriorated sponge from the drive unit
Included in the shipment:
- FDD unit
- 12 x 5-inch floppy disks (verified for scan disk, formatting, and no mold)
- Instruction manual
- Vertical stand
- FDD connection cable (no warranty)
The vertical stand is fragile, so it has been detached from the main unit.
To operate, you will need:
- 1MB FLOPPY DISK terminal or a 1MB FDD interface board
--- Operation Check ---
Using a PC-9821Ap2 with a 1MB FDD board:
- Formatting
- Copying
- Booting directly after copying
- Booting from the disk on another FDD
- Booting from a disk with data copied from another FDD
All of the above have been confirmed to work.
The boot confirmation was performed using the first disk of the MS-DOS 6.2 installation disk.

Shipping will be via Japan Post.

Packaging will use recycled boxes and cushioning materials.
