◯Sound output confirmed by connecting a CD player, smartphone, etc. to AUX, TUNER, TAPE A, and TAPE B.
Sound is clear from low to high frequencies on both left and right channels.
◯ BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, ATTENUATOR, MODE, DEFEAT/TONE ON, METER RANGE, and POWER METER (left and right) are all working correctly.
◯ Relay contact points cleaned / No sound interruptions at low volume.
◯ Top cover repainted.
This is a wonderful sounding amplifier.
• Power transistors: NEC CAN type 2SD388A + 2SB541A Complimentaries
• Main volume knob: All aluminum machined, including mounting part.
• Power switch knob: Replaced with a custom-made metal one.
• Meter range switch: Meters move relatively well even at low volumes.
• PHONO (record player) input: Only the LEFT channel has no sound and has noise. When MODE is set to MONO, both channels produce sound, but with noise mixed in. *If your PHONO equalizer equipped player has other output terminals, it can be connected to other input jacks.
• Front panel is in beautiful condition with no noticeable scratches.
As this is an old item, please allow for minor scratches, dirt, and rust. We appreciate your understanding if you are familiar with vintage equipment or are able to repair it if any issues arise.
