This item is being listed due to decluttering my parents' home. This is a genuine standing go board with significant thickness. A **wooden cover (paulownia wood)** for storage is also included.
【Features】
With a thickness of approximately 18cm (about 6 inches), it has a very substantial feel.
While there is no certificate of authenticity for the wood, its vibrant golden hue and clear grain suggest it is **New Kaya (Spruce)**. Unlike the reddish tone of Katsura wood from the Showa era, its bright color makes it visually appealing in both Japanese and Western-style rooms. The underside features a Heso (sound receiver) carved to enhance acoustic effects.
