Description
This is a black SCSI 50-pin terminator for 68k Macs. It was used with a Macintosh IIfx.
While there are many types of SCSI terminators, both genuine and third-party, only this specially made, expensive genuine black terminator could be used with the fastest 68k model, the IIfx, making it an extremely rare item that rarely appears on the market.
It is still traded at high prices, especially among vintage collectors in the US.
It is missing the fixing pins for the cable, but it was normally used by plugging it into the SCSI cable of an external HDD.
The IIfx is now broken, so I cannot confirm its operation by connecting it. However, due to its simple structure, I believe it should work. For now, please consider it as junk.
