DIY Speaker Enclosure (with 16cm Speaker Unit) Pair

These were custom-made by a carpenter based on a design from an audio magazine. The simple structure makes it easy for you to improve, modify, or upgrade them in the future.
★ (Per unit) Height approx. 65cm / Width approx. 43cm / Depth approx. 32cm / Weight approx. 10kg.
★ (Per unit) Internal volume is a large capacity of approx. 50 liters.

☆ - Compatible SP unit size: 16cm. Previously, I used them with 16cm full-range single-cone SP units from Pioneer and Diatone. Currently, they are equipped with inexpensive SP units as shown in the photos (Pioneer Carrozzeria TS-F16 - 4Ω / 16cm). Even with these inexpensive SP units, this sturdy enclosure delivers tight bass and bright, crisp mid-high frequencies. However, for the best sound, we recommend using higher-grade, authentic SP units to reproduce even more beautiful sound.
☆ If you enlarge the opening for the unit, larger diameter units can also be installed. Modifying them to a sealed type might also be interesting.
