For a slip-tip rig, the part of the line that extends from the side of the slip-tip acts as resistance when spearing a fish. Therefore, a softer line is advantageous for slip-tip rigs. This line is very soft, minimizing resistance when spearing a fish.
Domestic stainless steel wire, approximately 1.5mm thick, has a load capacity of about 50kg. While reasonably strong, the wire is stiff, causing the portion extending directly from the slip-tip to create resistance when penetrating the fish, which is disadvantageous for fish with hard scales like red sea bream or for shots at the maximum range.

Weather resistance refers to the occurrence of changes such as deformation, discoloration, and degradation due to sunlight, UV rays, temperature changes, water, and oxygen. Specifically, it means discoloration, hardening, and reduced strength.
Dyneema has high weather resistance and is perfectly suitable as a material for underwater and marine use, which is why it is used for fishing lines, nets, and marine ropes.
Furthermore, Dyneema excels in flex fatigue resistance.
While wire tends to develop kinks and experience strength reduction due to repeated bending in the same areas, Dyneema is extremely soft and sustains minimal damage from bending.

You can easily prevent fraying by lightly melting the end of the rope with a lighter.
