Vintage Denmark Hans Jensen Silver Plated 3 Leaf Motif Candle Holder

Vintage Denmark Hans Jensen Silver-Plated 3-Leaf Motif Candle Holder, a beautiful example of mid-century Scandinavian organic design. This boxed Danish candle holder features three textured, stylized leaves, reminiscent of maple or oak, extending from three central candle cups to create a sculptural tri-candle design. The piece was sold by W. Dirchert & Søn / Guld. og Sølvsmedie / Ribe - Danmark, a gold and silversmith business in Ribe, Denmark, and the leaf design is estimated to date to the 1960s. The underside bears Hans Jensen of Denmark maker's initials, a retailer's mark, and Jensen's whale mark indicating the silver quality. Measures approximately 3 1/4 on each side and 1 1/4 high. Includes the original partial box of vintage Cheerlites taper candles for a wonderful period-authentic presentation. A distinctive collectible for lovers of Danish modern, Scandinavian design, vintage silver plate, and organic mid-century decor. Gently used, pre-owned condition.
