Vintage Handmade Turkey Basket Thanksgiving Decor Primitive Turkey Wicker Basket

Adorable vintage handmade turkey basket, believed to date from the 1970s or 1980s. This charming piece combines a woven basket with a whimsical handmade fabric turkey, making it a wonderful addition to vintage Thanksgiving and fall décor.  The turkey features a dark fabric body, googly eyes, colorful felt beak and wattle, oversized felt feet, and a small orange fabric bow tie. Behind the turkey is a large dimensional tail made from individually pieced fabric panels in coordinating brown, rust, tan, cream, and earth-tone patterns.  The turkey is attached to a dark brown woven basket with twisted handles and a decorative plaid ribbon bow.
