Beautiful Indian textile wall hanging featuring an elaborate metallic brocade/jacquard design with colorful courtly female figures, musicians, peacocks, trees and ornate floral/paisley-inspired borders. The central design has a richly detailed metallic silver/gold background with vivid accents of blue, green, orange, pink, red and purple. The repeating scenes feature traditionally dressed women accompanied by musicians and peacocks, giving the piece a distinctly Indian decorative/art textile character. The textile is backed with solid black fabric and has a fabric sleeve/opening along the upper back for inserting a rod for hanging.
