R.I. / U.S.A. and bears U.S. patent numbers 2,170,537 and 2,281,782, patents associated with Imperial's patented knife construction. Based on the markings, construction and known Imperial examples, this knife dates approximately to the late 1940s–1950s. Vintage used condition with substantial age-related patina, oxidation, discoloration and surface wear to the blade and metal components. The attractive pearlescent handle and raised fish emblem remain intact. Knife has not been aggressively polished or restored. Please review photos carefully for exact condition.
