Vintage Yokohama Silk Scarf Equestrian Horse Carriage Motif 1980s Japan 35x35

Straight out of 1980s Japan, this Yokohama Scarf silk square is a full equestrian tableau, rendered in warm ivory, chestnut, and gold. At its center, a horse-drawn carriage rolls past crossed cavalry sabres, gleaming spurs, riding boots, and a gentleman's top hat and gloves, all framed by braided leather reins, tasseled cords, and ornate bit hardware in rich sepia tones with pops of cardinal red. Made of silk twill with a soft, substantial hand and a lovely sheen, equally striking draped over the shoulders, knotted at the neck, or displayed as framed wall art. Made in Japan and finished with a clean machine-stitched hem. This piece is in excellent condition with no flaws noted. Measures 35x35 inches.   Please keep in mind that this is a vintage item. I do my best to note any flaws or imperfections, but some light wear is consistent with age and use. This is part of the charm of owning a vintage piece.
