Description
This is a waterline series plastic model kit that I planned to build a fleet diorama with around 1980. I purchased and built a few, but gave up halfway through (^_^;) and left some of them unused and unopened on a shelf.
As the product name suggests, it is completely unused. Even after opening the box to inspect, the kit inside is unopened and complete. Some parts have come off the sprues, but since they were unopened, they are still inside the bag and have not been lost. Also, while the original glue is included, it's questionable why the tube is dented despite being unused. (-_-)
The box art is by Takeshi Ueda, famous for his ship illustrations. I didn't know this at the time, but when I searched for illustrations of the light cruiser Natori for this listing, I found that this particular artwork is highly regarded among his many ship paintings.

The ship's name, Natori, comes from the Natori River in Miyagi Prefecture. The Imperial Japanese Navy named its light cruisers after rivers, and this was the case for its sister ships Nagara, Isuzu, Yura, Kinu, and Abukuma as well.

Since Fujimi has withdrawn from the series, it is unclear if sister ships are still being produced, so this may be a rare item depending on the circumstances. (^^)
Regarding the price, I've set it based on my own judgment as I'm unsure of its antique value. I also took into account the shipping cost, as it fits perfectly into a 60-size Yu-Pack box, allowing the box with its attractive illustration to remain uncrushed.
