Description
Beautiful vintage circa-1950s Italian Renaissance Revival dresser/jewelry box featuring an ornate pierced brass frame with classical swag, floral and foliate detailing. The hinged beveled glass lid is accented with a decorative floral medallion, while the box rests on elaborate scrolling feet. Interior is finished with a soft beige/gold velvet-lined bottom. A wonderful old-world decorative piece for jewelry, keepsakes, vanity storage. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. There is visible finish loss/patina in several areas, including pink/copper-toned areas showing through the gold finish, particularly around the feet, edges and decorative metalwork. Glass shows light surface wear/scratching consistent with age. Interior lining remains present with expected vintage wear. Hinges function and the box displays beautifully. Please review close-up photos as they are part of the condition description. * Approx. 8”W × 6”D × 4.5”H
