1960–1969 Higgins Attributed Fused Art Glass 10 Mosaic Plate Multicolor MCM Style  Description:  Fused art glass plate or shallow platter attributed to Higgins Glass based on its laminated sandwich construction, abstract mosaic composition, color palette and similarities to documented Higgins fused glass. Attribution is not confirmed; the piece is unsigned and no original label is present. Irregular red, amber, yellow, teal, brown and opaque white glass segments are fused within clear glass with trapped air bubbles throughout.  Measures approximately 10 1/8 diameter and .3275 maximum glass thickness. The upper surface is predominantly smooth, with slight raised areas associated with trapped bubbles. The underside has textured mold-contact areas with a smoother curved transition, consistent with kiln-fused and slumped construction.  Pre-owned with light surface scratching and wear. No chips or cracks.
