Rare vintage Kate Spade New York tote dating to the late 1990s/early Y2K era, in a gorgeous pewter/taupe-gray sateen nylon. A fantastic surviving example of Kate Spade's original minimalist nylon aesthetic, featuring a softly structured trapezoid silhouette, long double shoulder straps, magnetic snap closure, signature exterior woven logo label and interior zip pocket. Especially collectible because this example still has its original Neiman Marcus retail tags attached. Neiman Marcus became the majority owner of Kate Spade in 1999, placing this bag squarely within an important early period of the label's history. New with original tags and appears unused. Due to approximately 25+ years of storage, there are some light impressions/creasing to the nylon as pictured; these are cosmetic storage effects rather than wear and should likely relax considerably with stuffing/reshaping. 100% nylon.
