As shown in photos 8 and 9, the thread stand is broken. It has been repaired with metal by an amateur. It does not seem to affect the operation.

I was using it until recently to make items for my child's school entrance, and personally, I think it's still working well. However, it was purchased about 10 years ago, so if you are concerned about its age, please consider an overhaul.
