Renaissance Vintage Handmade Lace Infant Layette Set by Jacilene Made in Brazil

Stunning renaissance lace was introduced to northeastern Brazil by European immigrant’s mid-century and became a rich tradition. Artisans mastered the needle-lace technique passing down to generations. Included are booties, hat and bib.  Condition note: Very good condition, note a slight darkening color on the side of the hat although it remains in good overall condition and beautiful.  Approximate measures: Hat 5 ½” x 5”; Booties 3 ½” long; Bib 8 ¼” L x 8” Weight 2 oz.  All items are researched and described to the best of my ability.
