Document Box - Cherry Bark Craft - Fujiki Special Selection
19.80 $
Description
I am organizing my parents' home.
This is a letter box from my father's study.
Highlights include:
Beauty of the material — The texture and natural expression of wild cherry bark.
Skillful traditional techniques — Structure and finish brought to life by the craftsman's handwork.
Tradition × Practicality — The coexistence of storage functionality and Japanese design.
Value as a growing craft — Charm that deepens with time.
Fujiki Denshiro Shoten is a long-established store founded in 1851, continuing the tradition of Kakunodate's Kaba-zaiku (cherry bark craft) into the present day. This letter box not only follows tradition but also appears to be finished in a form that can be practically used in modern life.
Please check the photos for the condition.
We are looking for someone who appreciates this type of work, understands that it is an old item, and will cherish it. Thank you.
