This is a dance obi (sash) from the Hanayagi school of Japanese dance. It was stored in my grandmother's room.
This is a luxurious Japanese garment with a beautiful combination of pink and silver cherry blossom patterns.
The lining also features a lovely match of purple cherry blossoms on a white background!
It appears to be reversible and can be worn on either side.
It has fold creases but is in beautiful condition.
