Description
This is an obi-jime (sash cord) for an Ichimatsu doll, sewn from antique fabric. It seems to have a few strands of yarn or something similar inside, giving it a rather flat appearance.
The ends are gathered and tied with thread, which is a cute detail.
The fabric is pre-war, so it has a slight vintage feel.
The off-white part appears to have changed color slightly, so I have uploaded a photo (photo 3) for reference.
I believe antique fabric harmonizes well with the attire of antique dolls.
