Beautiful condition Yamaha FG-400M, solid top and back, made in Japan, with genuine Yamaha hard case.

This is a rare YAMAHA FG-400M guitar with a solid mahogany body.
It was manufactured around 1983-1986 and features a beige label, released as the successor to the orange label series.
The M series was a sound-focused line, boasting solid top or higher quality, with models like the Takahiko Ishikawa and Gamu models being high-end instruments.
A distinctive feature is its pickguard, which differs from the standard Yamaha design, making it a rare model.

The top and back are made from excellent wood with a frosted appearance.
It is very well-dried and, being a solid top and back construction, allows you to enjoy a simple mahogany sound.
Recommended for those looking for a unit in good condition.

String height at the 12th fret is 2.5mm. The brass endpin, bone saddle, and nut have been replaced to achieve a more brilliant sound.

Comes with a genuine YAMAHA hard case.
No neck warping observed.
Frets are 80% or more remaining. Rod has room.
