Description
Bright, cheerful color and intricate openwork give this new handmade crochet centerpiece a fresh take on traditional lace décor. Carefully crocheted by my mother using mercerized cotton thread, it features a symmetrical floral starburst design with graceful open loops, textured stitches, and crisp pointed edging. The vibrant apple-green color is beautiful for modern and whimsical Christmas decorating, including candy-themed, Grinch-inspired, hot-pink, turquoise, and bright-red holiday palettes. It is equally lovely for St. Patrick's Day, Easter, spring and summer displays, or as a colorful year-round accent. Display it on a small table, dresser, vanity, buffet, decorative tray, or beneath a favorite vase, candleholder, figurine, or collectible. Handmade specifically to sell and never used or displayed.
