Beautiful vintage solid-brass trivet made by Virginia Metalcrafters for Colonial Williamsburg. The ornate openwork design is an intertwined “W” and “M,” representing King William III and Queen Mary II. The trivet is elevated on four small feet to protect a tabletop from hot serving dishes. It would also be lovely displayed on a shelf, incorporated into a collected kitchen vignette or hung as decorative brass wall art. This is a used vintage piece with an aged brass finish, surface marks, patina and areas of oxidation/verdigris on the underside. These signs of age are part of its authentic vintage character. Please review the original, unstaged photographs carefully for condition.
