Description
A wonderful vintage piece for the country hostess! The central tile can be used as a trivet for a hot dip or appetizer, or as a mini cheese board. This party platter features a dark wood base with heart-shaped cutouts, a fixed central ceramic tile, and two removable rectangular ceramic relish dishes. All three ceramic pieces feature the signature Village brown and cream floral pattern; this Early American-style design was introduced in 1976. Good vintage condition. The wood has some dings and blemishes. Ceramic pieces have no chips or cracks. There is some crazing on the inside of the relish dishes; see photos for details. Measures approximately 22-1/2 long, 9-3/4 wide and 1-1/2 tall. Each relish dish measures approximately 7-1/2 long, 3-3/4 wide and 1 deep. Central tile is 6 by 6.
