Charming vintage handmade watermelon patchwork quilt block or mini textile featuring nine individually pieced watermelon-inspired blocks. Each block combines red-and-white gingham fabric with white and dark green printed cotton, accented with small black stitched seeds. Finished with a white inner border and solid green outer border. The reverse is a plain light-colored fabric. A wonderful piece of vintage textile art for displaying as a mini quilt, table mat, wall décor, incorporating into a larger quilting project, or adding to a collection of handmade folk-art textiles.
