VTG Turkish Dallah Etched Copper Floral Black 2 Pc Set - Coffee Tea Pot Ornate

Stunning vintage Turkish or Middle Eastern copper dallah (Arabic coffee pot) and matching round tray set. Both pieces are crafted from copper with a striking black enamel ground accented by engraved gold-tone bands and finely worked silver-tone floral and foliate inlay designs. The bulbous-bodied pot features a domed lid with a copper knob finial, a wire lid-retaining hook, an angled spout, and a long curved metal handle all hallmarks of traditional Turkish and Arabic coffee service ware. The belly of the pot is decorated with alternating bands of black, gold, and engraved silver scrollwork along with a central floral medallion motif. The matching round tray echoes the same decorative scheme with a black center well surrounded by radiating engraved silver panels and copper floral accents. The reverse of the tray is plain polished copper. No maker's mark or hallmark is visible. This set makes a beautiful display piece for collectors of Middle Eastern, Turkish, or Islamic art and decor. Sold as a two-piece set: pot with hinged lid and round tray.
