Description
This is a Rikyu-style natsume (tea caddy) with a chrysanthemum and paulownia crest on the lid and a five-seven paulownia crest on the body.
I purchased this for practice when I first started tea ceremony many years ago, but as a beginner, I was hesitant about the formal design and kept it stored for a long time without using it.
The material is not listed on the box, but it is believed to be resin.
The exterior is a dark reddish-brown color, between brown and vermilion, and the interior is black.
I found this while organizing my tea utensils and have decided to list it for sale.
The paper box is damaged.
