【Unused】Kiso Lacquerware Fan-shaped Individual Plates, Set of 5, Vermilion Lacquer, Maki-e, with Original Box

This is a set of 5 Fan-shaped Individual Plates made with Kisso lacquerware, a traditional craft of Nagano Prefecture.

These plates are shaped like a fan (ōgi), which is considered auspicious for its widening shape, making them perfect for New Year's, entertaining guests, or serving tea sweets. The vibrant vermilion lacquer, accented with black and gold maki-e on the edges, enhances their luxurious feel.

The manufacturer, Misuzu Sangyo, is a reputable company with a history of awards at lacquerware exhibitions.
