Vintage 1980’s Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Painters Hat The Boss

Up for sale is an incredibly rare, vintage Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band promotional painter-style hat from the early 1980s. This iconic piece of rock memorabilia features a vibrant red crown with a classic graphic illustration of The Boss rocking out with his guitar and the text “Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band”. The front features bold lettering reading THE BOSS. The sides feature the words “Down to the River” on one side and “Golly Miss Molly” with the letters as music notes. I believe these refer to the iconic songs “The River” and “Detroit Melody”. It is finished with a contrasting stark black brim. Perfect for any serious vinyl collector, music archivist, or die-hard Springsteen fan. Condition: - nice shape for age- does have a few discolorations/faded spots - I have not tried to treat/clean. These areas of wear are common for the age of this hat. - If you look at the shape of each notehead on each side they form the text: G - O - L - L -Y M - I - S - S M - O - L - L - Y and D - O - W - N T - O T - H - E R - I - V - E - R. - The cap is made from a thin, paper-like material commonly referred to as Tyvek or nylon. - No labels or printed product information on the hat interior. - Smoke free, Pet Friendly home
