A mitsukubai-shaped tray (mokkou-bon) with delicate maki-e (gold lacquer painting) of clear white orchids, finished with genuine lacquer.

The pure white orchids are depicted with an emphasis on three-dimensionality. In the background, a clustered landscape of bush clover (hagi) and patrinia (ominaeshi) is subtly depicted with a subdued gold color, creating an elegant world with a sense of depth on the tray's surface. The black lacquer adds solemnity, while the tray, shaped like a mitsukubai crest (mokkou-mon), evokes a graceful atmosphere.

This is a handmade masterpiece, meticulously crafted with dedication by skilled artisans, representing Japan's traditional crafts. It can be used as a tray for daily offerings.

Comes in an outer box with orchid foil stamping.
