Cocoon basin, silver mine basin, Yabe basin, Kuchiki basin, raw wood basin, Japanese sake, sake ware, sake cup, sake flask, antique, fine art
This is a cocoon tray used for refining silk thread from silkworm cocoons. It dates back to the Edo to Meiji periods. As it is made of Japanese paper, very few of these items still exist, making it an extremely rare and valuable piece. Compared to common wooden trays, it has a very soft impression, making it perfect for enjoying a different atmosphere. Would this be of interest to you? Please note that the sake cups and tokkuri shown in the photos are not included.
