Vintage 1979 Corning’s Cook’s Choice Cookbook Binder CorningWare Pyrex 1st Print

Vintage 1979 first-printing edition of Corning’s Cook’s Choice: 200 Delicious Recipes with Both Microwave and Conventional Directions, prepared for Corning Glass Works and published by The Benjamin Company/Rutledge Books.  This cookbook came from my mother’s personal collection. She purchased it new in 1979 as part of her extensive CorningWare collection and carefully kept it through the years. It is an original-owner piece and still includes the vintage Corning product-care pamphlets she saved with it.  The cookbook is housed in its original sturdy white three-ring Corning binder. The ingenious binder converts into a convenient countertop stand, allowing the selected recipe to lie flat and remain easy to read while cooking.  Inside are 200 recipes with separate directions for both conventional ovens and microwave ovens. It also contains helpful information about selecting, using, and caring for vintage CorningWare and Pyrex cookware.
