Vintage Wm Rogers #817 silver-plated water pitcher featuring an ornate scroll handle, decorative footed base, and built-in ice guard at the spout.This piece is engraved:AGLAIA PRESIDENT 1963-1964The pitcher is believed to have been presented to the president of the Aglaia Club of Ogden, Utah, for the 1963-1964 term, giving it an interesting Utah organizational and presentation-piece history.Marked Wm Rogers with eagle and star symbols and pattern/model number 817.The pitcher has been carefully cleaned and polished and displays beautifully. The silver-plated finish has a bright reflective appearance with age-appropriate surface scratches, polishing marks, and light wear visible upon close inspection.
