Description
Vintage lot of 2 Anchor Hocking Home Canning Caps for mason/canning jars. Each gold-tone metal lid features the classic black farmer illustration along with: “HOME CANNING CAP” “DATE FILLED” “USE ONLY ONCE” The undersides retain their original white sealing material/gasket. These appear unused, although they have been stored for many years and show age-related surface wear, light scratches, discoloration/tarnish and oxidation consistent with vintage canning supplies. Approximately 3 inches across based on the ruler shown in the photos. Great vintage pieces for farmhouse kitchen décor, canning collections, mason jar displays, advertising/packaging collections, or craft use. Please note: Due to their age, these are being sold as vintage collectible/decorative items rather than being guaranteed safe or functional for modern food canning. You will receive 2 lids total, exactly as pictured. Part of a large estate sale. New items posted weekly.
