Description
Beautiful vintage Hall China 6-cup teapot, model 0113, in a deep burgundy/maroon glaze with elaborate gold crackle decoration and gold trim. This shape is commonly identified in the market as the Hall Hollywood teapot. The underside is clearly marked: HALL 0113 6 CUP MADE IN U.S.A. Comparable examples with the same 0113 number are identified as 6-cup Hall teapots and measure roughly 10½ from handle to spout and around 7 high with the lid. (Etsy) Hall China was founded in East Liverpool, Ohio, in 1903 and became especially well known for its colorful American-made teapots. (Wikipedia) Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with noticeable age-related wear to the gold decoration, especially around the shoulder, lid, handle and trim. There are areas of gold loss/rubbing and surface wear consistent with age and use. The burgundy glaze remains glossy and attractive.
