Vintage Cat Spool Cabinet Display Case Thread Holder

Cat Spool Cabinet
Store Fixture?

I don't remember where I bought it, so I'm unsure of its country of origin.
I was drawn to the cat illustration and purchased it, but I didn't use it to store anything; I just displayed it as is.

Was this a store fixture?
The inside is divided to make it easy to organize spools (thread).
The knob on the top drawer appears to have been repaired/replaced.
The third drawer slides smoothly.
The first and second drawers can be pulled out halfway, but after that, they don't slide smoothly. I believe applying wax or adjusting the drawer sides might improve this somewhat.

As shown in images 6, 7, and 17, the back panel is cracked. This could likely be repaired with adhesive.

Normally, items like this sell for over 20,000 yen, but I've reflected the condition in the price.
The thread spools in image 13 are included.

I hope someone who likes it will purchase it.
